Aloha Mai! I am Rachel Leslie and unlike my fellow group members I am a junior at Kamehameha Schools. I have been attending Kamehameha for the past 12 years and I am so excited to be graduating next year. I am unsure of where I would like to attend college but I plan to major in political business/ law. The sustainability project that we are working on right now is one that I am very excited about ! I had mentioned in one of the blog post (that you may read on our blog page) that I donʻt just want to complete this assignment, I want to make a difference.
Aloha! My name is Tymane and I am a senior at Kamehameha Kapalama. I will be attending the University of Utah in the fall and am still undecided about what major I will pursue. The most important thing to me is my family and my culture. Going off to school in Utah I hope to bring more awareness about sustainability and Hawaiian perspective. Being of Samoan, Tongan, and Hawaiian blood I have learned a lot about Polynesian lifestyle and thinking, and I hope to continue to hold on to these values as I go off to places where I will be a minority. I hope you find our website informational, and I hope it helps you in any way possible.
Aloha mai kākou! My name is Trace Meyers and I am 18 years old and still no driver's license. I am a senior and Kamehameha Kapālama and will be graduating in May. After high school I will be attending Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I'm an undecided on what I am majoring in but I am very interested in the engineering fields. I am very excited to be working on this project and hope that it can bring awareness to others about the issue we are addressing. |
